David Peck Todd (1855-1939) was a noted American astronomer. He produced a complete set of photographs of the 1882 transit of Venus.
Dark blue with blind-stamped front and a gilt spine title. Lightly rubbed cover with a mildly shaken binding, a very light spine shift, and a few inner bindery cracks. And the very front section (title page) has been re-glued at the gutter edge. Undated circa 1905. Hardcover book.
