The diaries contain reminiscences of literary figures including Coleridge, Wordsworth, Charles Lamb, and William Blake - of whose last years, according to Swinburne, Robinson's diaries give the best account. Crabb Robinson (1775-1867) was also acquainted with leading German poets such as Goethe and Schiller.

 

VOL. II AND III ONLY! Green hardcovers with a gilt spine title and chocolate endpapers. The inner binding on the second volume is heavily cracked and separated in one place and the inner spine cloth has been re-glued. And the binding on the third volume is shaken.
