Henry Wadsworth Longfellow (1807–1882) was an American poet and educator whose works include "Paul Revere's Ride", The Song of Hiawatha, and Evangeline. He was also the first American to translate Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy and was one of the Fireside Poets from New England.
Leather with gilt spine title, three color front center emblem. all edges gilt , gilt deltelle and fancy endpapers. Presentation page at front endpaper and a long poem on another front endpaper page. Nice overall condition with lightly rubbed edges and cover and mild sun at spine edge.
7-1/2 x 5 with 500 pages. Fading on bottom book pictures is only a shadow from the backing.
