A Methodist minister, Ostrom was associated with the Moody Bible Institute, starting in 1921. He wrote under his pseudonym because he felt freer to use his songs in evangelistic meetings if he didn’t draw attention to himself as the author.

Light brown with fancy black and dark red highlight to cover title, dark red spine title and yellow top edge. Secure binding with clean pages and mild cover wear with a slight sun darkened spine edge. Original owner gift inscription at the front endpaper dated 1907. Nice overall. Almost 6-3/4 x 4-3/4 with 100 pages. Scarce.
