Three-volume set. Brown cloth with gilt spine title. Vol. I. with a small corner chip to the front endpaper. Volume II has a faded spine (sun). Top corner tip page bump crease to Vol. II. with some small dog-ears. Rubbed and bumped corner tips and spine ends of each. Secure bindings with clean pages. Reynolds Library, Rochester, New York copies, with original bookplates at front & rear endpaper. They were a part of the reference department and were numbered and were not allowed to be taken from the library. About 9 x 6 with 741, 498, and 401 pages. Rare three-volume set.
