“Eucharist” is used in the Didache, dating from the first century. Churches in the Catholic tradition often use the word Eucharist to refer to the entire rite, while the word Communion is used for the sacramental elements themselves, hence “to receive Communion”.
 
Small leather bound religious book with five raised bands on spine and brown floral decoration and gilt borders to front. All edges gilt, with decorative endpapers and inner dentelle edges to cover. Pages with floral art at edges. Secure binding with clean pages. And a nice cover with very minimal wear. Missing one rear decorative endpaper (tore out at edge).
