Sir Isaac Pitman (1813-1897), was a teacher of the English language who developed the most widely used system of shorthand, known now as Pitman

shorthand. He first proposed this in Stenographic Soundhand in 1837.


Bottom spine cloth frayed, with aged cover and a moderately loose spine. About 6-1/4 x 4 with 95 pp. plus index and ads.
