William Wordsworth was an English Romantic poet who, with Samuel Taylor Coleridge, helped to launch the Romantic Age in English literature with their joint publication Lyrical Ballads.

 

Wordsworth was called by Shelly

“Poet of nature”. He, too, called himself

“A Worshiper of Nature.” He held a firm faith that nature could enlighten the kindheartedness and universal brotherhood of human being, and only existing in harmony with nature where man could get true happiness.

 

Miniature two-volume set with brown cloth, gilt spine title, all edges gilt, and floral endpapers. Nice overall with light rubbing to the cover edges. About 4-1/4 x 2-3/4 with 308 and 312 pages.
