Full calf with a gilt title over red spine swatch (ANTHON'S VIRGIL) and all edges marbled. The front cover is cleanly split at the spine edge and holds about an eighth of an inch when pulled on. A tiny top of the top spine edge is partly torn/frayed with a few leather tears, edge frays, and cover discoloring (at the rear board). About 7-5/8 x 4-3/4 with 942 pages. Secure and clean text block with the last free endpaper creased and partly torn at the gutter.
