THE CONNECTICUT COURANT. (October 29, 1764) Hartford Newspaper

$250.00Price
The Connecticut Courant. Monday, October 29, 1764 (Number 00.). Printed by THOMAS GREEN, at the Heart and Crown, near the North-Meeting-House (ca. 1860s "reprint").

The Hartford Courant is the largest daily newspaper in the U.S. state of Connecticut, and is often recognized as the oldest continuously published newspaper in the United States.--Wikipedia

After a deeper search, I determined this is a "reprint" (ca. mid-1800s).

"Printed with traditional letter forms, with the exception of a modern letter 's' instead of traditional form in the word "Thanksgiving," back page, second column, eleven lines up from the bottom to distinguish this from an authentic copy. Reissued from time to time by the Hartford Courant."

Four-page (unnumbered) newspaper in great condition with light wear.

This "reprint" is in exceptional condition. About 14-1/4 x 8-1/4.
