THE LOST CHRIST.

Rodney "Gipsy" Smith, George H. Doran Co., New York, 1909.

The Lost Christ is one of the greatest sermons preached by Rodney "Gipsy" Smith. Smith was born in England in a gypsy tent. He has been called "one of the most effective evangelists in Christian history."

Mary left Jesus behind in Jerusalem and didn't even realise He was missing. Is it possible for Christians to lose Jesus and not know? Evangelist Gipsy Smith asks this question in this very short book, and wonders how it is possible to lose Jesus without knowing, and explains how to prevent it happening, and how to find the lost Christ.

Rodney "Gipsy" Smith was a British evangelist who conducted evangelistic campaigns in the United States and Great Britain for over 70 years. He was an early member of The Salvation Army and a contemporary of Fanny Crosby and acquaintance of G. Campbell Morgan and H. A. Ironside. Although he was a Methodist, ministers of all denominations loved him.
