Heavy blue reinforced, library-bound tape on the spine with gilt title and black front title. Lightly shifted spine with a mildly rubbed cover and nice, clean pages (a couple of smudges). There's a tiny bottom-corner chip on one illustrated page and a few scattered surface creases.
 
Original owner's name on the front endpaper; otherwise unmarked. The binding is nice and secure. About 7-3/4 x 5-1/2 with 319 pages plus ads. Reprinted February 1904. Photographic illustrations throughout. Scarce.
