Slightly shaken though secure text block with inner rear joint showing bindery webbing, a mild top spine shift and clean pages. Missing verso front chocolate endpaper. One foxed page (from something left in, and a few notations. Undated circa late 1870s with 1880 date at front endpaper inscription. About 7-1/2 x 5 with 740 pages. Illustrated. About fair plus with a fairly nice cover.
