Napoleon III was the first President of France (as Louis-Napoléon Bonaparte) from 1848 to 1852 and the Emperor of the French from 1852 to 1870. A nephew of Napoleon I, he was the last monarch to rule over France.
 
Complete two volume set. Green blind-stamped cloth with gilt spine title and yellow endpapers. Volume 1 is in fair condition with the spine cloth missing (covers detached and present). Volume 2 is in very good condition. Volume I has 462 pages, and Volume II has 439 pages. Scarce!
