An olive green cover with fancy black designs highlighted with gilt over title and all edges gilt. Shifted spine with a binding crack at the inside front gutter. Lightly foxed pages (heavy at the endpapers). Nice, St. Mary's Parish Church Sunday Schools 1st. prize presentation sticker dated January 21, 1907, on the inside cover. The cover is still fairly nice, and the outer edge gilding is mostly worn away. Undated, circa 1890. Beautifully illustrated. About 7 1/4 x 5 with 292 pp. plus ads.
