When his colleague Long Arrow disappears, Dr. Dolittle sets off with his assistant, Tommy Stubbins, his dog, Jip, and Polynesia the parrot on an adventurous voyage over tropical seas to floating Spidermonkey Island.
 
The inner binding has heavy wear with some of  the pages loosening and the inner joints are showing the bindery webbing. The cover has some foxing and soil. Ex-library book with card at the rear inside cover (possible personal library as the card states it's book #1). About 8-1/4 x 5-1/2 with 364 pages. Fair minus condition.
