Color illustrated cover with a red cloth spine, black title, and white rear board. The rear board is lightly rubbed with a possible mild damp stain at the top and a small soil mark at the bottom. The front illustrated cover is nice with some rub marks on the edges. Smaller area with light color fading at the spine edge. Secure binding with clean brown-toned pages. A light bottom corner page surface crease with mild bottom corner cover tips bumped. Original owner name/address at the front endpaper.  Illustrated with black and white drawings. The jacket has a large rear top edge chip (3-1/2 x 2/3 inch) and other tears and edge creases (inner and outer soil). Undated circa 1920s. About 9-3/4 x 7-1/2 x 2 (unpaginated). Scarce with dust jacket.
